If you want to swap the Finnish cold, Excel sheets, and inflation-hit student lunches for the burning heat of the Athenian sun, lunch anchor parties, and gyros, then Athen/10 needs to be in your calendar R-I-G-H-T N-O-W. Leave the autumn mud behind and head with us to the crystal-clear Mediterranean to experience Greece like never before.
This year’s trip takes us to the tried-and-tested surroundings of Athens, where there’s plenty to see. KY-Sail’s professional skippers will handle the navigation to one beautiful harbor after another, so don't worry if you have no prior sailing experience. We are more than happy to show you the ropes, who knows, you might just get bitten by the sailing bug! ;)
The trip isn't just about sailing, though; it’s also about refreshing "landing drinks”, delicious Mediterranean dinners, and the echoes of karaoke. The ticket sale
And now the burning question: how can you secure your ticket for this mind-blowing trip? Pay attention, as this year our ticket sale process has been renewed and now happens in two phases. This is how you can secure your spot:
⏳ Friday Feb 27th, 2026, at 12.00 - 13.00
We will publish a Google Forms link in our Instagram (kysail), through which you should submit your preliminary information. Speed doesn't matter, as long as the form is completed between 12:00 and 13:00. Note: Completing this step is mandatory to be eligible for a ticket. It is not binding but required for everyone planning to join.
⌛ Monday March 2nd, 2026, at 20:00
To everyone who has submitted their preliminary information, we will announce the exact location for the physical ticket sale within the Otaniemi area. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until both weeks are full. One person can buy a ticket for themselves and one additional ticket for an avec. The first installment (€350) must be paid on the spot and is a requirement for securing the ticket. The payment happens on-site via cash or Mobilepay, so please ensure you have the funds available.
Note. If you are buying a ticket for your avec as well, be prepared to bay for both tickets.

How much does the trip cost?
2.3. € 350 (cash payment or Mobilepay at the ticket sale)

Please note that flights to the destination are not included in the price. Each participant is responsible for booking their own flights.
At the destination there are other expenses such as food, drinks and harbor fees. For these expenses, each boat party has usually collected their joint boat treasury, from which shared expenses are paid from. Typically € 250-300 per person has been adequate, depending on the local price level.
